This pin can often be snapped when lifting the machine. To fit the new pin the whole rear cover of the machine usually has to be removed. You will see it is held in place by a fixing pin on which the spool peg pivots. This pin can sometimes work loose and drop into the mechnisms of the machine.Again I considered the best way to photograph this all white item was on my desk top.
