There are both two and three courses available in 2012. The aim is to show students how to choose the correct size of pattern after trying on calico bodices for size and recommended alterations, using the McCalls fitting shell pattern 2718.
You will be shown how to deal with common problems such as high round back, narrow shoulders and full bust alterations.
The two-day course is purely about fitting techniques
and so no sewing equipment is needed, whereas during
the three day course there will be the opportunity to fit
and sew. No sewing equipment is needed. No previous
experience is necessary.
