Twin needles can be used for decorative sewing, pintucking and topstitching. Two needles are mounted onto a single shank. They come in different widths, 2mm, 4mm etc. Always be EXTREMELY careful when using a twin needle. ALWAYS set your machine to straight stitch. If you use a zigzag or swing stitch, you will break the needle!
