NOTE - 3 THINGS TO BEAR IN MIND
Before you buy any embroidery software please make sure it is compatible with the Windows system you are using on your computer.

Bernina, Janome & Brother embroidery software will not work on your Mac, only on a PC running Microsoft Windows.

You've bought your embroidery software and you're as happy as Larry!
Then, a few years later, you change your computer. Your new computer is now running a new version of Windows. This may well cause a conflict between your embroidery software and the new Windows software.
Bernina, Janome, & Brother all provide 'patches' on their website which allow you to upgrade their embroidery software packages to run on a newer version of Windows BUT These patches will only upgrade your embroidery software to one level upgrade of Windows!!

So, if you bought your embroidery software when Windows 98 was new, there is no patch to allow you to run your software on the latest Windows 7.

The lesson - NEVER get rid of the computer you use to run your embroidery sofware!
